Setting Up the TV

When connecting to the Digital Satellite Receiver’s DVI-HDTV connector

If you are connecting to a digital satellite receiver with DVI-HDTV output, you can connect to the TV’s HDMI IN jack by using an HDMI-DVI cable.

1 Using an HDMI-DVI cable, connect the digital satellite receiver’s DVI- HDTV OUT jack to the TV’s HDMI IN jack.

Use the HDMI IN 6 input.

2 Using an audio cable, connect the digital satellite receiver’s AUDIO OUT jacks to the TV’s AUDIO IN jacks.

The DVI-HDTV VIDEO jack does not provide audio, so audio cables must be connected to provide sound when an HDMI-DVI cable is used.

Use only the HDMI IN 6 input for this connection. If the HDMI IN 7 input is used for this connection, the AUDIO IN jacks in HDMI IN 6 become unavailable.
