5 Press (2) (T) or (5) (t) to select the desired frequency.

6 Rotate the dial to select the desired level.

If you want to change the equalizer curve to be adjusted at this time, press (2) (T) repeatedly until the equalizer curve name apppears to return to step 3.

To restore the factory-set equalizer curve, press (6) (ENTER) for two seconds.

7 Press (SOUND) for two seconds. When the effect setting is complete, the normal playback mode appears.

2 Press (SOUND) repeatedly until “POS” appears.3 Rotate the dial to select the desired listening position.

The listening positions appear in the order shown above.

To cancel the POS mode, select “off.” After three seconds, the display returns to the normal playback mode.

Selecting the listening position

You can set a delayed time for the sound to reach the listeners from the speakers.

In this way, the unit can simulate a natural sound field so that you feel as if you are in the center of the sound field no matter where you sit in the car.

1 Press (SOURCE) to select a source (tuner, CD, or MD).

Adjusting the listening position

1 Press (SOUND) for two seconds.

2 Press (SOUND) repeatedly until “POS” appears.

3 Press (5) (t).

4 Rotate the dial to adjust the centre of the sound field to the left or right.

Centre moves to the L (left).

Centre moves to the R (right).

To restore the factory-set listening position, press (6) (ENTER) for two seconds.
