the disc
You can check the playing time and remaing time of the current track or that of the disc.
When a
Checking the remaining time in the front panel display
Press DISPLAY repeatedly during Normal Play.
Each time you press the button, the display changes cyclically as follows:
DVD
Elapsed playing time of the current title t Remaining time of the current title t Elapsed playing time of the current chapter t Remaining time of the current chapter t Title* t Clock display (for eight seconds) t Effect status
*With DVD TEXT discs only (certain characters cannot be displayed). Depending on the disc, DVD text does not appear and “NO TEXT” appears.
CD or VIDEO CD without PBC function

Notes
•ID3 tag applies only to version 1.
•If the MP3 file you play back has an ID3 tag, the ID3 tag information is displayed as a track title.
•The ID3 tag character codes comply with ASCII and ISO standards. Joliet format discs can only be displayed in ASCII. Incompatible characters will be displayed as “ ” (space).
•In the following case, elapsed playing time and time of the track remaining may not be displayed accurately.
–when an MP3 file of VBR (variable bit rate) is played.
