CMD (VIDEO) IN jacks (VIDEO (MD) IN jacks for North American model)
Use audio cords (not supplied) to connect the audio output of the optional component (such as MD deck or VCR) to these jacks. You can then output audio through this system.
DMD (VIDEO) OUT jacks (VIDEO (MD) OUT jacks for North American model)
Use audio cords (not supplied) to connect the audio input of the optional component (such as MD deck or VCR) to these jacks. You can then make an analog recording from this system.
ESUB WOOFER OUT jack
Use speaker cord (not supplied) to connect the sub woofer speaker.
FDIGITAL OUT jack
Use a digital optical cable (square, not supplied) to connect the audio input of the optional digital component to this jack. You can then record digital audio from this system.
GCOMPONENT VIDEO OUT jacks
Use the component cable (not supplied) to connect the video input of the TV or projector to these jacks. Make sure to match the color of the plugs and the connectors.

1 Connect the audio cords.

2 Press MD (VIDEO)*.
Start playing the connected component.
Listening to a connected VCR
1 Connect the audio cords.

2 Press MD (VIDEO)*.
Hold down MD (VIDEO)* and press ?/1. This switches the “ MD” function to
“VIDEO” . Once you enable the “ VIDEO” function, just press MD (VIDEO)*.
Notes
•If you cannot select “ MD” when you press MD (VIDEO)*, press ?/1 while holding down MD (VIDEO)* when the system is on. “ VIDEO” will be switched to “ MD” . To return to “ VIDEO” , repeat the same procedure.
