Setting Up Your Ethernet Connection
To connect to the network (Windows Me):
1Right-click My Network Places and select Properties.
2Click the Identification tab and type in the computer name, workgroup, and
computer description.
To connect to the network (Windows 2000):
1Right-click My Network Places and select Properties. The Network and
Dial-up Connections dialog box displays.
2Click Make a New Connection. The Network Connection Wizard displays.
Follow the online instructions to connect to the network.
To set network components (Windows Me):
1Right-click My Network Places and select Properties.
2Click the Configuration tab. This will give you access to a listing of installed
network components. If you do not see the component you desire, click Add
and follow the on-screen installation instructions.
To set network components (Windows 2000):
1Right-click My Network Places and select Properties. The Network and
Dial-up Connections dialog box displays.
2Click the Add New Components hyperlink. This will give you access to add
or remove network components. Follow the on-screen installation
instructions.
