The system board contains one PCI Riser slot connector for a PCI riser card. The PCI riser card in turn provides two PCI slot connectors for PCI add-in cards. One PCI slot connector is available for an add-in PCI card, except some configure-to-order models, which may already use this slot. The other PCI slot connector is occupied by the fax/modem card.

The PCI slots in the riser card support 32-bit 5V and Universal (3.3/5V) PCI add-in cards.
