My connected printer does not print after the computer resumes from a power saving mode

To reset the printer connection, proceed as follows:

1Right-click the My Computer icon on the desktop, then select Properties.

2Click the Device Manager tab.

3Select Refresh, then click OK.

The printer should now function properly.

My i.LINK™ device does not appear on the desktop

To see the i.LINKdevice icon on the desktop, proceed as follows:

1Turn off and disconnect your i.LINKdevice.

2Reconnect your device.

3Turn on the power on the device again.

The icon should now appear on the desktop.

The connected i.LINK™ device is not recognized

Disconnect the i.LINKdevice, then connect it again.

You are strongly advised to use only Sony i.LINKcables, as using other brands may cause problems with the i.LINKdevices.

When I remove a Memory Stick™, an error message appears

Insert the Memory Stickinto the slot again and press <Enter>. Wait until the active application finishes, then remove the Memory Stick. If the message confirms the ejection of the Memory Stick, click OK.
