	Inserting a PCI add-on board

User	Your computer has open PCI expansion slots. These slots enable you to install add-on boards to expand the

VAIO	To insert an add-on board, proceed as follows:
VAIO	1	Shut down your computer and turn off all peripheral devices, such as your printer.

Sony	2	Unplug your computer and any peripheral devices.
Sony	3	Remove the side cover as described in Opening the side cover (page 66).
	4	Locate one of the available expansion slots.
	5	Remove the screw, and then remove the slot cover, as shown:

6Install the add-on board by plugging it into the expansion slot and secure it with the screw from the expansion slot, as shown:
