You can check the playback information and remaining time displayed on the TV screen by pressing DISPLAY repeatedly. The items displayed differ depending on the disc type or playing status.

Titles

(Titles): Current title (or track) number/total number of titles (or tracks) (page 49)

(Chapters): Current chapter number/total number of chapters (page 49)

(Time): Elapsed playing time (page 49)

(Audio): Selected audio language (DVD VIDEO only) or audio channel (page 47)

(Subtitle): Selected subtitle (page 47)

(Angle): Selected angle/total number of angles (page 47)

(Sound): Selected sound mode. Select [3D SUR.] to enjoy virtual surround sound effects created from the front left and right speakers.

If no button is pressed for ten seconds, the playback information display will turn off.

Playing time of MP3 audio tracks may not be displayed correctly.

If you create a Playlist title longer than “19:59:59,” the front panel counter is reset to “10:00:00” and restarts counting.

When playing a title recorded over 12 hours by other DVD equipment, time display may not appear correctly.

Notes on Surround effect

The function may not work with some discs.

When you turn on this function, turn off the surround settings of the connected TV or amplifier (receiver).

Make sure that your listening position is between and at an equal distance from your speakers, and that the speakers are located in similar surroundings.

The function does not work if you connect to an amplifier using the DIGITAL OUT (COAXIAL)/ HDMI OUT jack.
