You can lock the Commander so that you can not change, add, or clear any of your component code settings (page 8), “learned” signals (pages 13, 25, 29, etc.), System Control settings, (page 20), volume setting (page 18), or System

If you try to set a component code number (page 8) or perform learning
3 (page 13), you will hear beeps and “NG” flashes on the display.
To unlock the preset lock
To unlock the preset lock, follow the same procedure as the above and press “ON” in Step 2. “OFF” appears on the display.
