Button | Description |

POWER Button | Turns the DSS receiver on and off. | |
MENU Button | Brings up the Main Menu. |

EXIT Button | Clears all | |
| guides, menus, etc. If you press EXIT before you | |
| complete your selections, the previous selections are | |
| restored. |

| The arrow buttons highlight items in the | |
| displays (program guides, menus, etc.). The button | |
| selects highlighted items. When pressed during | |
| normal | button brings up the |
| Station Index (unless a message appears). | |
TV/DSS Button | Switches the output of the DSS receiver between TV | |
| (normal TV programs), if you’ve connected a TV cable | |
| or antenna, and DSS programs. | |
Power Indicator | Indicates whether the DSS receiver is on or off. | |
DSS Indicator | Indicates whether the receiver is set for DSS mode (on) | |
| or TV mode (off) |

Message/Timer | Flashes to indicate you have an unread message. | |
Indicator | Stays lit to indicate the timer is set. |
Note
If the timer is set and you have an unread message, the indicator will stay lit.
