If you cannot tune in a station and the entered numbers flash
Make sure you have entered the right frequency. If not, repeat step 7. If the entered numbers still flash, the frequency is not used in your area.

(You do not have to enter the last “0” when the tuning scale is set to 100 kHz.) Example 2: AM 1,350 kHz

(You do not have to enter the last “0” when the tuning scale is set to 10 kHz.)
If you have tuned in an AM station, adjust the direction of the AM loop antenna for optimum reception.
Example 1: FM 102.50 MHz
Press FM/AM to select “FM” or “AM”.
Rotate INPUT SELECTOR to select tuner (“FM” or “AM”).
Touch DIRECT.
Touch b to display screen 2/6.

Touch FM/AM to select FM or AM band. You can also use the FM/AM button on the receiver.

Presetting radio stations

You can preset up to 30 FM or AM stations. Then you can easily tune in the stations you often listen to.

3 Tune in the station that you want to preset using Automatic Tuning (page 26) or Direct Tuning (page 26).

Switch the FM reception mode if necessary (page 26).

4 Press MEMORY/ENTER.

“MEMORY” appears in the display for a few seconds. Do steps 5 to 6 before the display goes out.

5 Press PRESET TUNING + or PRESET TUNING – to select a preset number.

If you want to switch the memory page, press SHIFT on the remote.

If “MEMORY” goes out before you select the preset number, start again from step 4.

6 Press MEMORY/ENTER again.

The station is stored to the selected preset number.

If “MEMORY” goes out before you press MEMORY/ENTER, start again from step 4.

7 Repeat steps 2 to 6 to preset another station.Tuning to preset stations

1 Rotate INPUT SELECTOR to select tuner (“FM” or “AM”).

2 Press PRESET TUNING + or PRESET TUNING – repeatedly to select the preset station you want.
