ASLEEP: Lights up when the sleep timer is activated.

BPlayback channel indicators: The letters (L, C, R, etc.) indicate the channel(s) being played back. The boxes around the letters vary to show how the receiver downmixes the source sound (based on the speakers settings). Abbreviations: L (Front Left), R (Front Right), C (Center (monaural)), SL (Surround Left), SR (Surround Right), S (Surround (monaural or the surround components obtained by Pro Logic processing)), SB (Surround Back), SW (subwoofer)

Output channel: Surround and surround back speakers absent

C; DIGITAL EX: Lights up when the receiver is decoding signals recorded in the Dolby Digital format.

D; PL (II): “PL” lights up when a 2-channel signal is applied with “DOLBY PL” or C.ST.EX A–C. “PL II” lights up when Dolby Pro Logic II processing (“PLII MOV” or “PLII MUS”) is applied. However, this indicator does not light if the center and surround speakers are set to “NO”.

ED.RANGE: Lights up when dynamic range compression is activated (page 26).

FEQ: Lights up when the equalizer is activated.

GTuner indicators: Lights up when using the receiver to tune in radio stations, etc. See pages 18–20 for tuner operations.

HCOAX: Lights up when the source signal is a digital signal being input through the COAX IN jack.

IOPT: Lights up when the source signal is a digital signal being input through the OPT IN jack.

JNEO:6: Lights up when DTS Neo:6 Cinema/ Music mode decoding is activated.

KDTS-ES:Lights up when DTS-ES signals are being input.

LLFE : Lights up when the disc being played back contains the LFE channel, and the LFE channel signal is actually being reproduced.
