Click LEVEL then click + or – to adjust the speakers to the levels you prefer.

To start adjustment with a flat equalizer curve.

Click FLAT

To reset the tone parameter of the selected sound field to the original factory settings

Click STD.

To exit to the main menu

Click EXIT.

To return to the previous menu

Click RETURN.

To adjust the volume

Click VOL + or –.

To adjust the effect level

Click EFFECT then click UP or DOWN to adjust the presence of the sound field to the level you

prefer.

Adjusting surround sound parameters

Change the surround parameters to fit your listening situation. You can adjust the speaker levels and the overall presence of the sound field.

To adjust the parameters of the PRO LOGIC sound field, see “Getting the Most Out of Dolby Pro Logic Surround Sound” on page 32.

1Start playing a program source, then click SOUND in the main menu.

2Click the genre of sound field you want to reset. The previously selected mode turns on automatically.

3Click MODE repeatedly to select the mode you want to adjust.

To reset all parameters of the current sound field to the original factory settings.

Click STD.

To exit to the main menu

Click EXIT.

To return to the previous menu

Click RETURN.

To adjust the volume

Click VOL + or –.

Note

If you make new adjustments to a sound field, the previous settings are replaced by the new ones.
