Surround
Sound
This chapter describes how to position each speaker, and how to set up your speakers to enjoy multi channel surround sound.
It also explains how to set up the control amplifier to enjoy surround sound. You can enjoy multi channel surround when playing back software encoded in the Dolby Digital, DTS, or MPEG formats.

Brief descriptions of buttons used to set
up the speaker system
MAIN MENU button: Press repeatedly to select the desired menu (<SP SETUP>, etc.).
MENU knob: Turn to select a parameter from the current menu.
+/– knob: Turn to adjust the selected parameter.
Speaker Setup
1Press Uto turn on the control amplifier.
2Press MAIN MENU repeatedly to display “<SP SETUP>”.
3Turn MENU to select the parameter you want to adjust.
4Turn +/– to select the setting you desire.
The new setting becomes effective and is stored automatically.
