Basic operation

To use the pointing device, open the palmrest and set the POINTING DEVICE switch to ON.

The pointer on the screen follows your finger movements on the pointing device.

You can control the on-screen pointer and perform the following operations using the pointing device.

Clicking

Move the pointer to the desired location and press the left button below the pointing device.

You can also perform the click function by lightly tapping the pointing device.
Double-clicking

Move the pointer to the desired location and press the left button twice in rapid succession.

You can also perform the double-click function by lightly tapping the pointing device twice.

Right-clicking

Move the pointer to the desired location and press the right button once. Depending on where the pointer is when you press the button, a shortcut menu with various choices may appear.

Notes

•The pointing device senses the pressure of your finger and moves accordingly. If pointer response seems sluggish, press the pointing device more firmly.

•You can use the pointing device on the keyboard to move the pointer and operate the left and right buttons. Scrolling and other features are not available.
