Setting the date and time

This setting is required for the Regular Report function.

Time Zone

Select the region in which you are using the projector.

Date/Time

Set the date and time.

Time Server

Enter the address of the time server when the time is set by a timer server.

Network Settings

Enter the information for the network settings.

Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)

Normally, set “Obtain an IP address automatically (DHCP).” If you select “Specify an IP address,” set the necessary items.

Ethernet

Select the communication speed or communication mode from the drop-down list. (Normally set to Auto.)

Notes

•If the IP address is changed, you will not be able to access the network using an old IP address.

•To reset the settings of an item back to its factory settings, press the RESET, ENTER, m and ENTER keys on the control panel in order within 5 seconds with the power on, and reset the settings depending on the messages displayed on the screen.

Setting passwords for “Administrator” and “User”

You can set passwords for each “Administrator” and “User.”

The name of the “Administrator” account is preset to “root” at the factory. It cannot be changed.

Notes

•When you change the password, input a new password after deleting the password (*****) that was set.

•If you forget your password, consult with qualified Sony personnel.
