Replacing the Lens

You can install the following two types of lenses in the projector.

VPLL-ZM102 Long Focus Zoom Lens

Follow the steps below to replace the lens.

For details on replacing the lens, also refer to the installation manual supplied with the lens.

1 Turn off the power and disconnect the power cable.

2 Remove the screw from the bottom of the unit by using a Philips screwdriver.

3 Slide the top cover (top lens cover) forward, and then lift it up to remove.

4 Remove the four screws (M310, with washers) locking the lens.

5 Lift and remove the lens.

6 Align the positions so that the stopper for the new lens is in contact with the stopper of the projector unit, and then attach the lens.

Note

When attaching the lens, mount the stopper (lens side) attached to the lens so that it is visible from the top.

7 Secure the replacement lens in place with four screws (M310, with washers).

8 Line up the bump under the lens on the top cover with the depression in the base (refer to the diagram below), and then insert the six tabs on the sides of the top cover into the slits on the projector.
