
Connecting optional components
You can record a CD on a DAT or enjoy the sound from a VCR or TV through the speakers of this player.
Be sure to turn off the power of each component before making connections.
For details, refer to the instruction manual of the component to be connected.

Listening to TV and VCR
•Connect the cables firmly to avoid any malfunction.
•When connecting the other component to the LINE IN jack of this player, unplug the MD connecting cord from the MD CONTROL jack.

Tip
To record the sound of the component connected, insert a blank cassette into the tape compartment after step 2.
Press r/P, then press
(on the tape section.
1 Connect the audio connecting cord (not supplied) to the line output jack of the component and the LINE IN jack of this player.
2 Turn on the power, and press MD (LINE) to display “LINE”.
The sound from the connected component is output from the speakers.
