3.2Operating modes of the camera

You have the choice of various flash modes depending on the operating mode of the camera and the type of mecablitz used.

3.2.1 Program AE mode

mecablitz 40 MZ-..., 44 MZ-2. 50 MZ-5, 54 MZ-...

and 70 MZ-... :

The mecablitz can be operated in the TTL and Auto A flash modes.

mecablitz 32 Z-2, 32 MZ-3, 45 CL-3 / 4:

The mecablitz can be operated in the TTL flash mode.

mecablitz 60 CT-4:

For system-inherent reasons the mecablitz 60CT-4 cannot be used in the Program AE operating modes of the camera.!

3.2.2 Scene selection program SCN

Various cameras feature a scene selection pro- gram „SCN“. Please refer to section 3.2.1 „Pro- gram AE mode“ for the possible flash modes with the individual mecablitz models and observe the instructions given in the camera manuals.

3.2.3 Aperture priority A

mecablitz 32 Z-2, 32 MZ-3, 40 MZ-..., 44 MZ-3,

45 CL-4, 50 MZ-5, 54 MZ-..., 70 MZ-... :

The mecablitz can be operated in the flash modes TTL, Auto A and Manual M.

mecablitz 60 CT-4:

The mecablitz can be operated in the Auto A and Manual M flash modes.
