Attention:

Dedicated functions can only be performed if both the camera and the mecablitz support the function concerned.

2. General description

This SCA 3602 adapter permits Sony digital came- ras to be used in conjunction with an additional external flash unit (mecablitz). The adapter is not suitable for cameras made by other manufactu- rers.

Sony digital cameras transmit data, such as f-stop, CCD sensitivity (ISO), etc. to the mecablitz. Depen- ding on the type of camera used, the selected ope- rating mode and the mecablitz model, the flash light can be controlled in the TTL flash control, the auto flash mode A or the manual flash mode M.

☞Simultaneous use of the camera’s built-in flash in combination with an external flash unit is not possible for system induced reasons. When taking flash shots make sure to observe the instructions given in the camera manual.
