Configuring NDMP Enabled by TAOS

You will need to assign a user name and password which will be used to gain access to the backup resources--drives and/or libraries--under the control of the TAOS NDMP agent.

This user name and password will have to be part of the NDMP backup application set up. It will be the backup application that will need to access the tape or library resource.

1.Select TAOS NDMP configuration to set the NDMP user name and password.

Login username This is the user name that the NDMP backup application will use to gain access to the library resource. The default setting is root.

If the Login username is not root, select [1] to edit.
