Playing Video CDs
Video CDs can contain video or still images, such as photos. Your portable DVD player will play all standard Video CD formats.
Upon insertion, the player will read and begin to play the CD. If there is a menu on the CD, it will appear, allowing you to navigate through the tracks stored on the CD. Otherwise, the player will begin playing the video back beginning with the first track.
If the CD contains still pictures, the player will display them as a slideshow.
The On-Screen Display
The OSD (press DISPLAY) shows the current track and playback time.
Navigating Menus
If there is a menu on the Video CD, you can enable and disable it by turning playback control (PBC) on and off. Press MENU to turn PBC on and off.
Use the following controls to navigate the menu:
Press PREV and NEXT to scroll through menu pages.
To view an item, enter the number of that item on the keypad. To enter numbers 10 or higher, press 10+ until the correct group of ten is selected, then enter the rightmost digit on the keypad. Example: To enter 35, press 10+ three times and then press 5.
