Install Your XOHM Modem Using the XOHM Modem Setup Assistant

This section outlines the basic steps to install your modem using the XOHM Modem Setup Assistant included on the XOHM Modem Setup Assistant CD that came with your modem.

Note

You can set up your modem without running the XOHM Modem Setup Assistant, but we recommend that you use the setup assistant for the sake of simplicity and to facilitate future updates and diagnostics.

Install the XOHM Modem Setup Assistant

1.Insert the XOHM Modem Setup Assistant CD into your computer’s CD drive.

The installation should begin automatically. If your computer does not launch the installation program, click Start >

My Computer and double-click on the CD Drive. From the CD drive file list, click XOHM Modem Setup Assistant.exe to begin the installation.

Note

Depending on your system settings, you may be required to log in as an administrator to install software on your computer.
