ADJUSTINGTHEPRINTINGGAP
The distancebetween the print head and the platen can be adjustedto
accommodatedifferentpaperthicknesses.Tomakethisadjustment,openthe
frontcover. The adjustmentleveris locatedat the left side of the printer
mechanism.Pushing the adjustmentlever backwards narrows the gap;
pullingitforwards widensthegap.
Thereare seven positions, andyou can feel the lever clicking into each
position.Thesecondpositionfromtherear(markedwith’’o”)istheonemost
commonlyusedfor singlesheetsof paw.
Trydifferentpositionsuntilyou get thebest printingresults.
NOTE:Printing withan inappropriategapmaydrasticallyshortenthelife
of theprinthead.
