Chapter 5: Advanced Serverboard Setup

SCSI Controller Enable/ Disable

Jumper JPA1 allows you to enable or disable the SCSI headers. The default setting is pins 1-2 to enable all four headers. See the table on the right for jumper settings.

Power Force On

Jumper JPF allows you to force the system into a permanent power on state. Power will remain on (re- gardless of the power button being activated) until this jumper is reset to "open". The default setting is open. See the table on the right for jumper settings.

5-10 Onboard Indicators

GLAN LEDs

Each Ethernet port has two LEDs. The yellow LED indicates activity while the other LED may be green, orange or off to indicate the speed of the connection. See the table on the right for the functions as- sociated with this second LED.
