Operating the PPT 2700
To perform a warm boot, hold down both the up and down scroll buttons, then press the App
4 button.

Performing a Cold Boot
A cold boot also restarts your PPT 2700 terminal, but erases all stored records and entries.
Therefore, never perform a cold boot unless a warm boot does not solve your problem.
Note: You can restore any data previously synchronized with your computer
during the next ActiveSync operation.
To perform a cold boot:
1. Remove the battery cover.
2. While holding down the Function button, use the tip of the stylus (or similar object
without a sharp tip) to gently press the reset button.
