Ifyoufinditimpossibletosolveaproblemwitht hehelp ofthesenotes,pleasedisconnecttheunitfromthe mains and ask your authorised specialist dealer for ad vice.

Protection

The Protection circuit provides outstandingly effective protectionagainstvirtuallyallformsofoverloadi ng.This itdoesbycomparingtheinputsignalbeforetheou tput stage with the output signal; if there is the sligh test discrepancy,theProtectioncircuitswitchesoffth eequip mentimmediately.

This system protects the loudspeakers very effectiv

ely

against serious damage caused by clipping or other

signaldistortingerrors.

 

Thesystemalsoincludesprotectivecircuitswhich

guard

against shortcircuit and overheating. If a problem

occurs, the output signal is switched off and the l

oud

speakercodeletters( 'A'und 'B')ontheintegralscreen starttoflash.

Ifthisshouldhappen,reducetheamplifier’svolum elevel immediately!

Afterabout20secondstheamplifierwillnormally switch itselfonagain,andthecodeletterswillceasefl ashing.

Iftheamplifierdoesnotcomeonagainafterthis

period,

theremaybeashortcircuitintheloudspeakercab

les,or

the amplifier may have become too hot; in this case

it

should be left switched off for a longer period to

cool

down.

VCR etc.) respond to the RC commands

 

from the F6 remote control handset;

 

alternatively the M-system responds to

 

the RC signals intended for other equip-
