Playback and mixing

First, we will play the demo song on the included SD card. The SD card with the demo song is shipped already installed but we will start by explaining how to insert an SD card

here.

4Close the battery compartment cover after installing the batteries.

5Connect headphones to the PHONES connector.

Preparing to listen to the demo song

1Open the SD card slot cover on the right side of the unit and insert the supplied SD card into the slot.

Do not insert the card backwards or apply unnecessary force. This could damage the slot or card.

2Close the slot cover.

3Open the battery compartment cover and insert four AA batteries into the compartment, paying attention to the plus/minus (+/–) orientation. This unit can use alkaline or NiMH batteries.

5Press and hold the STANDBY/ON key on the top panel until TASCAMappears on screen.

After starting up the Home Screen appears on the display.

CAUTION

•Do not remove or insert the SD card when the unit’s power is ON. Make sure the unit power is OFF before you remove
