Electrical safety:

-Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.

-Ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating label matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.

-Keep the appliance away from heat sources and sharp edges.

-Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.

-Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak.

-Do not force the power cord. Never use the power cord to lift up, carry or unplug the appliance.

-Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with the appliance's hot surfaces.

-Do not touch the plug with wet hands.

Personal safety:

-The temperature of the accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is in use.

Use and care:

-Fully unroll the appliance's power cable before each use.

-Never connect the appliance without having first of all filled the oil bowl.

-Do not use the appliance if the on/off switch does not work.

-Do not move the appliance whilst in operation or if the oil is still hot. Once cooled, transport the appliance using the handles.

-Use the appliance handle/s, to catch it or move it.

-Do not turn the appliance over while it is in use or connected to the mains.

-Respect the MAX and MIN levels. (Fig.1)

-Disconnect the appliance from the mains when not in use and before undertaking any cleaning task.

-This appliance is for household use only, not professional or industrial use.

-This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

-This appliance is intended for adult use. Ensure that this product is not used by the disabled, children or people unused to its handling.

-This appliance should be stored out of reach of children and/or the disabled.

-If fat is used instead of oil, melt first in a separate container.

-If fat has hardened in the fryer, make a few holes in the solid fat in order to allow the water, which has been retained in the fat to be released as steam when heated at the minimum thermostat temperature

-If, for some reason, the oil were to catch fire, disconnect the appliance from the mains and smother the fire using the lid, a cover or a large kitchen cloth. NEVER WITH WATER.

-Turn the thermostat control to the minimum (MIN) setting. This does not mean that the deep fryer is switched off permanentl

-Do not store or transport the appliance if it is still hot..

-Do not use this appliance continually, in order to prevent its plastic base and cover disforming.

-Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use renders the guarantee and the manufacturer's liability null and void.
