•When using an electric hotplate or induction, make sure that the size of the hot plate does not exceed the size of the pressure cooker base.

•On a ceramic or halogen, always make sure that the pressure cooker base is clean and dry.

•On a gas burner, the flame should not lick past the diameter of the pressure cooker base.

•On all burners, make sure that your pressure cooker is properly centred.

Opening

•Move the Opening/Closing handle from the horizontal to the vertical position (the jaws open)

•Lift the lid.If you cannot open the lid:

•Move the Opening/Closing handle back to the horizontal position and check that the pressure indicator (D) is in low position.
