4.12 Configuring the RamSan-500 Cache

The RamSan-500 contains a large RAM cache to buffer write operations and keep the back and Flash busy with parallel operation. The cache details and configuration can be viewed by selecting the “Cache” item from under the “Storage” node of the system tree. The cache “Detailed Information” is shown in Figure 22.

The detailed information includes information about the cache and its current configuration. To modify the configuration of the cache, click the “Configure” button. This will open the “Cache Configuration” wizard, shown in Figure 23.
