If the network fails to start, check the Ethernet connection and contact your system administrator. If the system successfully saved the IP configuration, you may simply select the “Restart Network” option from the “Ethernet Setup” menu instead of re-selecting the same IP configuration.

4.6Additional System Management Options

4.6.1Connecting using a Terminal Program

To connect to the RamSan-500 using a serial port connection, use a dumb terminal or a terminal emulation program such as Windows™ HyperTerminal. Set your baud rate to 9600 with 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity, and no flow control. Connect to the serial port using a DB-9 non-null serial cable.
