AFP (Apple Network Setup)
From the Network menu, choose the AFP item, and the AFP Configuration screen appears. This screen displays the configuration items for the Apple Filing Protocol. You can change any of these items and press Apply to confirm your settings. A description of each item follows:
Apple Network Configuration

AFP Server | Enable or disable Apple File Service to use the 1U4500 with MAC |

MAC CHARSET | If your operating system does not support Unicode (e.g. MAC |
| OS9/8), select the same language as your OS here in order to |
| properly view the files and directories on the server. |
Zone | Specifies Zone for Applet Talk service. |
| If your AppleTalk network uses extended networks and is |
| assigned with multiple zones, assign a zone name to the |
| 1U4500. If you do not want to assign a network zone, enter an |
| asterisk (*) to use the default setting. |
NFS Setup
From the Network menu, choose the NFS item, and the NFS Server Setting screen appears. The 1U4500 can act as an NFS server, enabling users to download and upload files with the favorite NFS clients. Press Apply to confirm your settings. A description of each item follows:
