3.2.5 High definition television
Thedigital receiver supports various video resolutions from
576to 1080. Ingeneral a resolution of 720 or more is considered
highdefinition. The higher the resolutionis, the better quality
you can enjoy. However, if your television set does not sup-
porthigh definition, you cannot enjoy high definition quality
picture.
Setthe HDMI Output option as you desire. The available values
for this option arechanged according to the TV Type option.
Ifyou set this option to 576P, the digital receiver will present
evenhigh definition programmes in resolution of 576. On the
contrary,if you set it to 1080I, the digital receiver will present
evenstandard definition programmes in resolution of 1080.
NOTE
Youcan enjoy only standard definition video with the following
connectors:
• Composite video connector (VIDEO)
• S-Video connector (S-VIDEO)
• SCART connector (TV)
3.2.6 Video scaling
Byadjusting the Video Output Scalingoption, you can inflate
orshrink pictures from

3.2.7 Audio mode
Basically,there are two audio sourcesas you can find two audio
socketson the back panel of the digital receiver. You can enjoy
onlyone source or both of them in either stereo or mono. Set
theSound Mode option as you desire.
Apartfrom this setting, you can change the sound mode with
the button. See § 5.2.4 for detailed description.
