8.2 Configuring the wireless network settings on the digitalreceiver
Youshould configure the WLAN settings to enable the web
serviceand FTP service. Youhad better refer to the manual of
yourrouter for understanding of technical terminology.
NOTE
Yourrouter should be within five meters of the digital receiver.
IPconfiguration
Selectthe Installation

ting>IP Configurationmenu.
Youmay assign a dynamic IP ad-
dress to the digital receiver. To
do so, set the DHCP option to
On. You can view the dynamic
IP addressassigned to the digi-
talreceiver by your router at the
WLANStatus menu.
Wheneverthe digital receiver is restarted, the dynamic IP ad-
dress will be changed and you will have to check it at the
WLAN Status menuto accessthe digital receiver. To avoid this
cumbersomething, youhad better assign a static IP address
ratherthan dynamic one.
Setthe DHCP option to Off, then the IP Address,Subnet Mask
andGateway options become enabled. Youhave to set these
optionsto match the configuration of your router.
Setthe User ID and Password options as you desire. When you
accessthe FTP server, you will be asked for the account that is
madewith these options
