transponder.To do that, set the Search Mode option to Manual,
andthen at the Channel option select your desired transponder.
Thenumber ranges from 5 to 12 in VHF and 21 to 69 in UHF.
Tosearch one service of a transponder, set the Search Mode
optionto Advanced, and at the PID option specify the PIDs of
your desired service with the numeric buttons. PID (Packet
Identifier)is a set of numbers that identifies transport stream
packets.
Tostart service search, select the Start Search item; then a list
boxappears, in which found services will be listed. Whenit has
completed,press the
OK
buttonto save found services. Tostop
atany time or to exit without saving, press the
EXIT
button.
4.2 Resetting to factory settings
Thedigital receiver maintains the following data:
• Services list
• Favourite list
• Timer list
• Preference settings
Youcan reset all data of the digital receiver. Todo that, select
theInstallation
>
FactorySetting menu, and then you are asked
for confirmation. If you select Yes, service entries, favourite
entries and timer events will all be deleted, and preference
optionswill be reset to the manufacturer ’s factory settings.
The digital receiver will ask for your location and language
afterresetting all the data. Youhave to designate them so that
youcan perform service search again.
NOTE
Afactory reset will not delete any recorded programmes.
