2.4.1 Connectingthe antenna
Whatever sort of connection you have be-
tweenthe digital receiver and the television,
you need to connect the digital receiver to
yourtelevision antenna so that it can receive
digitaltelevision services.
Connect the antenna cable to the ANT 1 IN
connector on the back panel of the digital
receiver.
Also, you must ensure that there is a con-
nectionto both the ANT 1 IN and ANT 1 IN
connectors on your digital receiver,so that
bothtuners work properly.
Normallyyou do that by using a loop cable to link from the RF
LOOP1 OUT connector to the ANT 1 IN connector.
NOTE
However,if you are in a weak signal area, or are using a signal
amplifierwith more than one output, you may achieve better
results by connecting a cable from the antenna or amplifier
directlyto the ANT 1 IN connector rather than using the loop
cable.
Ifyou have another digital receiver, or you want to still receive
analoguechannels on your television, link it from the RF LOOP
2OUT connector.
2.4.2 Connectingto your television
Betweenall the following connectors of the digital receiver, we
recommendyou to use the first connector to get best picture
quality. If your television does not have the matching connector,
