Ifyou have a USB storage, you can update the ﬁrmware from

it. To update the ﬁrmware from your USB storage, perform

thefollowing steps:

1. Download a new ﬁrmware from the Topﬁeld web site.

2. Copy the ﬁrmware ﬁle to your USB memory.

3. Insert the USB memory into the USB port on back panel

ofthe digital receiver.

4. Select the Installation >Transfer Firmware >Update

from USB menu, then the ﬁles in the USB storage are

listed.

5. Place the highlight bar on the right ﬁrmware ﬁle and

press the 







OK button, then a countdown will be dis-

playedon the front display of the digital receiver.

6. When ‘END’ message appears, restart the digital re-

ceiver.

NOTE

YourUSB storage must be formatted in the FATﬁle system. If

not,the digital receiver cannot recognize your USB storage. In

addition, the digital receiver can only recognize ﬁles and di-

rectorieswhich are named with only alphabetic, numeric and

underscoreletters. Ifthere is a ﬁle or forlder named with other

letters,the digital receiver cannot recognize not only it but also

thesubsequent ﬁles and folders.
