n NOTE: Emergency calls can be placed at any time, without requiring deactivation of any security feature first.
Activating Device Lock
To activate Device Lock:
1.From the Home Screen, select Start > More > Settings.
2.Select More... > Security > Device Lock.
3.Tick the Prompt if device unused for checkbox, and select how long your device can be left idle before a password is required.
4.Select a password type.
5.Enter and confirm a password.
6.Press Done.
7.Press Yes to confirm the changes.
n NOTE: Please make a note of the password.
Deactivating Device Lock
To deactivate Device Lock:
1.From the Home Screen, select Start > More > Settings.
2.Select More... > Security > Device Lock.
3.Enter the Device Lock password, then press Unlock.
4.Untick the Prompt if device unused for checkbox, then press Done.
5.Press Yes to confirm the changes.
Enabling SIM PIN
n NOTE: Before you start, you will need to know the SIM PIN. This is provided with your SIM card.
To enable SIM PIN:
1.From the Home Screen, select Start > More > Settings.
2.Select More... > Security > Enable SIM PIN.
3.Enter the SIM PIN, then press Done.
Disabling SIM PIN
To disable SIM PIN:
1.From the Home Screen, select Start > More > Settings.
