Wireless Manager

Wireless Manager allows you to easily switch the Bluetooth and Phone functionality On or Off.

To access Wireless Manager:

•Either press the Power key, then select Wireless Manager from the Quick List or

•From the Home Screen, select Start > More > Settings > Connections > Wireless Manager.

Switching radio transmission on/off

You can switch the telephony radio transmission of your Toshiba phone On and Off.

When the radio transmission is Off, it is in 'flight mode'. In this mode, you will not be able to make or receive calls, send or receive messages, or access the Internet.

To switch radio transmission on/off:

From Wireless Manager, select the Phone item. Radio transmission will toggle On or Off.

Switching all wireless functions on/ off

To switch both Bluetooth and Phone functionality on or off at the same time:

From Wireless Manager, select the All item. Bluetooth and Phone will both toggle On or Off.

n NOTE: You can conserve battery power by turning off Bluetooth when it is not in use.

Disconnecting current active data connection

You can disconnect an active data connection without switching off the radio transmission by selecting Menu > Disconnect Mobile Data from Wireless Manager.

However the data connection will automatically reconnect if you are using the Direct Push e-mail solution. This is because your Toshiba phone must have a connection permanently open to receive e-mails from the e-mail server. To disconnect the data connection in this scenario, you must first disable the Direct Push e-mail.
