2.Select Connections > More... > VPN.

3.Select New... or Menu > Add.

4.In the Description: field, enter a name for the connection.

5.In the VPN type: field, select the type of VPN.

6.In the Server: field, enter the name of the VPN server.

7.In the Connects from: field, select the type of network from which you will connect to the VPN (typically The Internet).

8.In the Connects to: field, select the type of VPN to which you will connect (typically Work).

9.In the User name: field, enter your user name for the VPN.

10.Enter details for the following fields if they are required:

Password: - your password for the VPN.

Domain: - domain name.

11.If you selected IPSec/L2TP in the VPN type: field, select the type of authentication in the IPSec authentication: field.

If the authentication type is Pre-Shared Key, then the key should be entered in the IPSec

Pre-shared key: field.

12. Press Done.

Connecting to intranet URLs

Some URLs for corporate intranet pages may use ‘.’ characters, for example intranet.companyname.com. To view these pages, you need to set up a URL exception.

To set up a URL exception:

1.From the Home Screen, select Start > More > Settings.

2.Select Connections.

3.Select Menu > Advanced.

4.Select Menu > Work URL Exceptions.

5.Select Menu > Add.

6.In the URL Pattern field, enter the required URL. You can enter multiple URLs separated with a ‘;’ character.

7.Press Done.
