Overview of screens and menus

Windows Media Player Mobile has three primary screens:

Library screen - enables quick access of files and playlists. It also includes an item that enables you to switch to the Now Playing screen.

To switch to the Playback screen from the Library screen, press the Back/Clear key. The Library screen will be the default screen displayed when you first use Windows Media Player Mobile.

Now Playing screen - displays the Now Playing playlist. This shows the file currently playing, as well as any files that are queued up to play next.

Playback screen - displays the playback controls and the video window. You can change the appearance of this screen by selecting a different skin.

Selecting Menu from any of these screens will give menu items relevant to the screen.

Library screen menu items

Queue Up - adds the highlighted item to the end of the current playlist.

Delete from Library - deletes the highlighted item from the library.

Now Playing - switches to the Now Playing screen.

Library - to switch between libraries.

Update Library - adds new items to the library by searching your Toshiba phone, and storage card if available.

Open File - enables you to play files that are stored on your phone or storage card but are not in the library.

Open URL - enables you to play a file stored on a network, such as the Internet.

Properties - displays information about the highlighted file.

Player - switches to the Playback screen.
