Is power supply voltage	NO
within the specified range?
YES

Are cables securely connected? NO

YES
Is the flowmeter grounded	NO
with 100Ωor less ground
resistance?
YES
Is the detector pipe filled	NO
with fluid?

Use a power supply within the specified range.

Connect each cable securely to the terminal board.

Ground the flowmeter with a copper braid or wire(5.5 mm² minimum) to a good earth ground.

(100Ωor less ground resistance)

Design piping so that the detector pipe is filled with fluid all the time.

Is the fluid carrying bubbles?

NO

YES

Design piping so that the fluid does not carry bubbles.

Is there high-voltage or large current cable or equipment YES near the flowmeter?

NO

Contact your nearest Toshiba representative.

Install the flowmeter away from equipment producing electromagnetic or electro- static interference.

Note 1: If the detector tube is not filled with operating fluid, the flow is indefinite and measurement is impossible. Be sure to fill the detector tube with operating fluid before starting measurement.
