Optical media drive

Computers in this series can be configured with an optical media drive installed in the Ultra Slim Bay. The available optical media drives are described below.

DVD-ROM&CD-R/RWSome models are equipped with a full-size, DVD-

driveROM&CD-R/RW drive module that lets you run CD/DVDs without using an adaptor. It reads DVD-ROMs at maximum 8 speed and CD-ROMs at maximum 24 speed. It writes CD-R at maximum 24 speed and CD-RW at maximum 24 speed. The drive supports the following formats:
