Introduction

Options

You can add a number of options to make your computer even more powerful and convenient to use.

You can buy the following options from your reseller or TOSHIBA dealer.

Memory expansion	A 256, 512, 1,024 or 2,048 MB memory module
	(DDR2-533/667) can easily be installed in the
	computer.
USB FDD Kit	The USB floppy disk drive accommodates either
	3 1/2" 1.44-megabyte or 720-kilobyte floppy
	disks through connection to a USB port. Please
	note that you cannot format 720-kilobyte floppy
	disks under Windows VistaTM, but you are able to
	use disks that have been previously formatted.
Universal AC	If you use your computer at more than one site
Adaptor	frequently, it may be convenient to purchase an
	additional AC adaptor for each site so you will not
	have to carry the adaptor with you.
Battery Pack	An additional battery pack can be purchased
	from your TOSHIBA dealer. Use it as a spare or
	replacement.
Slice Expansion	This battery pack increases your computer's
Battery	operating time when a main battery pack is also
	installed. It is connectable to the Docking Port of
	the computer.
Slice Expansion	The Slice Expansion Battery Adaptor is used to
Battery Adaptor	connect with the Battery Charger in order to
	charge a Slice Expansion Battery.
Battery Charger	The battery charger lets you charge extra
	batteries outside the computer.
80GB HDD Kit	You can increase your computer's data storage
	capacity with additional hard disk drives. They
	are available in the following size:
	■ 80.0 billion bytes (74.53 GB)
100GB HDD Kit	You can increase your computer's data storage
	capacity with additional hard disk drives. They
	are available in the following size:
	■ 100.0 billion bytes (93.16 GB)
