2.9 Printer Port Troubleshooting 2 Troubleshooting Procedures

This section describes how to determine if the 5IN1 (XD, SD, SM, MS, MMC) card player is functioning properly. The process is summarized in Figure 2-18. Perform the steps below starting with Procedure 1 and continuing with the other procedures as required.

Procedure 1: 5IN1 (XD, SD, MS, SM, MMC) card test

Procedure 1 5IN1 (XD, SD, MS, SM, MMC) test

The 5IN1 (XD, SD, MS, SM, MMC) test card contains a 5IN1 test program. Ensure the card in fully inserted into the socket before running the program.

If an error occurs during the 5IN1 (XD, SD, MS, SM, MMC) card test, Replace the system board with a new one following the steps in Chapter 4. If no error occurs, it is likely that the original 5IN1 card was faulty.
