Warnings and Messages Displayed on LCD Monitor

The following warnings, messages and icons are displayed on the LCD monitor and the status display.

	Display		Meaning
LCD monitor		Status display
			Remaining battery power half or less
	/	(Flashing)	No battery power left
NO CARD	Flashing (photography mode)		No SmartMedia is loaded
	Nothing displayed (playback		SmartMedia is loaded incorrectly
	mode)
CARD FULL	Flashing (photography mode)		No more space on the SmartMedia.
	Number of image display 0		Recording is not possible.
NO IMAGE			Nothing is recorded to the SmartMedia.
LID OPEN			The SmartMedia cover is open.
PLEASE CLOSE LID			The SmartMedia cover must be closed.
CARD NOT INITIALIZED			The SmartMedia is not formatted. (A message
			prompting you to format the SmartMedia is
			displayed.)
CARD ERROR			The SmartMedia is damaged.
			The SmartMedia format is incorrect.
PROTECTED CARD			The SmartMedia is write-protected.
FRAME ERROR			An attempt was made to playback incorrectly
			recorded data.
UNMATCHED DATA			An attempt was made to playback a frame not
			recorded on this camera.
FILE number FULL			The frame number has reached 99-9999.
			Poor lighting conditions. Image will be
			vulnerable to vibrations.
PROTECT!!!			An attempt was made to erase a protected
			image.
AF			The AF (auto focus) cannot work effectively.
