24.CAUTION: If the player is dropped and the cabinet or enclosure surface has been damaged or the player does not operate normally, take the following precautions:

ALWAYS turn off the player and unplug the power cord to avoid possible electric shock or fi re.

NEVER allow your body to come in contact with any broken glass or liquid from the damaged player. The LCD panel inside the player contains glass and a toxic liquid. If the liquid comes in contact with your mouth or eyes, or your skin

is cut by broken glass, rinse the affected area thoroughly with water and consult your doctor.

ALWAYS contact a service technician to inspect the player any time it has been damaged or dropped.

25.Use the player in a location that facilitates the immediate removal of the plug if there is a malfunction or failure.

26.Do not allow children to scratch, lick or put the memory card into their mouth.

Keep the memory card out of the reach of children. Injury to the child or malfunction may result.

27. Battery Pack (Lithium ion battery pack)

a)Never throw the battery pack into a fi re, as that could cause the battery pack to explode.

Never heat the battery pack, as that could cause leakage of alkaline solution or other electrolytic substance.

b)Never disassemble the battery pack, as that could cause leakage of alkaline solution or other electrolytic substance.

c)Never short-circuit the battery pack by either accidentally or intentionally bringing the terminals in contact with another metal object. This could cause personal injury or a fi re, and could also damage the battery pack.

d)Never drive a nail into the battery pack. Never strike the battery pack with a hammer. Never step or tread on the battery pack.

e)If you ever smell an unusual odor, excessive heat, discoloration, or deformation of the battery pack, remove it from the player after confi rming safety and discontinue use of it. Take the battery pack to an authorized Toshiba service provider.

f)Keep the battery pack away from heat or fi re.
