Record Greeting
.

to start recording. Wait until the system says
"Record greeting" before speaking.
Press

to stop recording. The system plays back your
new greeting.
To keep the greeting, press
end
. To delete it and try again, press
inteRcom/cleaR
.

Accessing the Answering System
When the phone’s in standby, you can access t he system from any ha ndset using two
different methods: Messa ge Manager and Play Mess ages. Regardle ss of which
method you use to get your messages , the following cond itions apply:
Only 1 handset can acces s the system at a time .
If you do nothing for 30 seconds, t he phone returns
to standby.
During remote access, the p hone beeps so you know
it's waiting for the next comma nd.
During message playback, p ress
menu/select
to open the
menu for playback control.

Message Manager

Message Manager lets you view t he caller’s inform ation.
With the phone in standby, press
message/mute
and then select
Message Manager

uP
or
down
to find the message you want to li sten to. Press
menu/select
to listen
to that message or you can scroll t o the next one.

Play All Messages

Play All Messages replays al l the messages rec eived, start ing with the newes t,
unheard messages and the n replaying the older m essages. With t he phone in
standby, press
message/mute
to access the
Play Messages
selection. You can play
messages with this mode f rom the base or from t he handset.
